The CIP-8D is a 20-pin DIP, 8-bit decoder IC with pin-selectable data rates of 2400 or 4800 bps. A unique feature of the CIP-8D is its ability to operate in either Latching or Momentary modes, and high current drive outputs. The CIP-8D is our
replacement decoder IC for the Holtek 8-bit series that are now very hard to
come by. Please see the data sheet above for operating details &

transmission of switch closures or button contacts. This series can find use in
any simple, low-cost remote control application. Simply take a data line high on
the encoder and a corresponding line will go high on the decoder. No programming
or addressing makes integrating the R-8Px extremely easy while maintaining a robust
link. |

The ENC-S40 is an 8-pin custom encoder IC that accepts 10-bit address & 8-bit data at 9600 bps. The ENC-S40 encodes & transmits data in a similar format to the Holtek HT640 encoder series. The ENC-S40 is a
replacement encoder IC for the Holtek HT640 series encoders recently
discontinued by Holtek. Please see the data sheet above for operating details &
