The PicBasic Pro Compiler demo version provided on the Micro-Bot CD supports a limited number of PIC microcontrollers, and is limited to 31 lines of source code (comments and white space are not counted).  You may use the demo to evaluate the compiler before purchasing the full version, and for the Micro-Bot demo version compiler code examples & experiments.

Comments and VAR statements are not included in the 31 instruction limit, while labels & constants will count as 1 instruction. The PicBasic Pro INCLUDE instruction is only used in the full version compiler code examples, and is not available with the demo version.

The NEW PicBasic Pro Demo Version Supports The Following PIC Microcontrollers:

12F683, 16F627(A), 16F628(A), 16F688, 16F690, 16F84(A), 16F870, 16F871, 16F872, 16F873(A), 16F874(A), 16F876(A), 16F877(A)

Installing The PicBasic Pro Demo Compiler:

The PBP Demo files are compressed into a zip file. The zip file may be found HERE. Files must be uncompressed before use. To uncompress the files, create a directory on your hard drive called PBPDEMO, or another name of your choosing.  Use WinZip (or compatible software) to extract the files to the directory you created.

If you don't already own some type of decompression software, you can download WinZip HERE -> WinZip compression software

All of the necessary files will be installed. The uncompressed README.TXT file has the latest information. Please take a moment to review this file after installation of the PicBasic Pro demo compiler.
